Sir, on a recent mission into Iraq, I purchased a weathered and somewhat
corroded 1st Cav Coin from a young girl at the British War Memorial.
Because of its condition, it appears to have been left here after the 1st
Gulf war.
After careful examination, I can make out the name "CPT Robinson" engraved
on the coin.
I am wondering what the odds are of him still being in the military and if
he lost the coin or gave it away. It may be interesting to bring this full
circle.
I was with my BC at the time and I caught on video the girl offering the
coin to him. I purchased it for a dollar.
