I came across this site recently and it reminded me of a holiday my wife and I spent in USA in 1997. We visited the Vietnam Memorial in Washington - I recall it was the day after an important annual memorial for wives and children. I took a photograph of a memorial in honour of Sgt. Collins, which we found particularly moving. It showed many photographs of Sgt Collins's family - all girls! - they all appear to have done very well and wanted their dad to know! - the memorial stated "For you dad, just to show we all turned out O.K.
