Final resting place

Dear Brothers in Arms,

I was a good friend of Robert William Snyder.  He live in the same part of
town, and we spend many years in school together.  I often stop by his final
resting place, as he is buried not too far from my brother Kent Childs
Taylor, who also paid the price in Viet Nam.  Here is a photo of the stone
on Bills grave.  I have visited with his parents in the past, and I know how
proud they were of him.  Even though he won the Silver Star, he was a hero
to me long before he went to Viet Nam.  He was just about the most honest,
friendliest, down to earth guy you could meet.  Everybody loved Billy Snyder
in this town.  I will scan a picture and forward it to you soon.  He made us
all proud and if we can only emulate his words, deeds and actions, the world
will be a better, safer, kinder place to be.  Love Ya Billy------------LeeT
