Rear Echelon was taken in early Oct 65 in the 2nd Bde area while I was between commands of A Co and B CO, 2/12.  Note the round cheeks from a month on the USNS Simon Buckner and three meals a day served up by the German cooks who usually manned it on its round trip from NJ to Bremerhaven.  We got fat is what I am saying.  Compare that to the drawn out face I sent you before four months later
